L. salicola 'Sato’s Violet'("Bacchus")
L. salicola 'Sato’s Violet'("Bacchus")
Product Description:
Lithops salicola 'Sato’s Violet' ("Bacchus") features a deep wine-red body color reminiscent of ripe purple grapes, with individual specimens exhibiting color variations in response to changes in light intensity. This variety is prone to elongation and requires careful water management. Belonging to the 'Salicola' lineage, it is known for its robust nature and resistance to overwatering, making it one of the hardiest lithops varieties. These characteristics may be attributed to the unique habitats of the Salicola lineage, which are periodically submerged in water and are found in both saline and non-saline areas. However, the 'Salicola' lineage is also prone to elongation, with insufficient sunlight or excessive moisture causing upward growth. Typically forming clusters of 2 to 3 heads, individual specimens can maintain their clustering habit over time, eventually forming spherical clusters. The patterns on each specimen are diverse and irregular, adding to their allure and uniqueness.

Planting Tips:
When you receive the Lithops, use dry and breathable soil to plant. Then you can water them after one week by soaking them from the bottom of the pot. Gradually increasing sunlight, Lithops require much full sun and less water for ideal growing conditions.
DO NOT OVERWATER. After planting in soil for one month, I suggest giving a small amount of water every other week.
